cabinet that is not made for that specific fish tank, then you will end up with a very
sloppy fit. The best thing you can do is to make a template of exactly what you want in a
fish tank and cabinet and take it to a manufacturer to see if it can be done. Once your
cabinet is completed, it is very difficult to correct any problems that may arise.
If you are making your own, then you need to pay close attention to the tank you have in
order to end up with a proper fitting cabinet and tank. Some people prefer making their
own because it gives them the option to built their cabinet exactly to their needs and
leaves room to hide most of the electrical wires and things that go along with having a
tank. It is not very difficult to frame out your own tank and put your own ideas best
suited to your own needs. You also have the option of finishing your cabinet in any
material you wish such as oak, glass, redwood or any other material of your choosing.
You can also have your cabinet custom made. All you have to do is bring your ideas and
measurements to a custom shop and they will tell you if it will work and if they can do it.
You can also discuss with them a different way to achieve what you want. They should
have lots of good ideas that maybe you haven’t thought of and will help you in your
design.
